Cockeysville's Valley Motors Donates $10,000 To Marathon Bombing Victim Brannock

The Hunt Valley resident and Towson preschool teacher suffered serious injuries, including the amputation of her left leg, following the mid-April attacks.

A Cockeysville area auto dealership has made a large donation to recovering Boston Marathon bombing victim Erica Brannock.

Valley Motors, 9800 York Road, presented a $10,000 donation to the Erica Brannock Fund on Thursday, Baltimore-area FOX affiliate WBFF reported.

The dealership raised the money in $100 increments for each Subaru sold in May and June and by collecting donations in the showroom and at community events, the station reported. The donation, they said, is among the largest given to Brannock.

Brannock, a 29-year-old Hunt Valley resident and Towson-area preschool teacher, was near the marathon finish line when the bombs exploded.

She underwent 10 surgeries during her recovery including the amputation of her left leg above the knee, according to The Boston Globe.
