William Shatner Coming to Hunt Valley for 'Extremely Rare' Fan-Con Appearance
The Star Trek legend is one of the high-profile guests headlining the 35th annual Shore Leave fan convention this summer.
Television and science fiction film icon William Shatner will be making an appearance in Hunt Valley this summer, it was announced earlier this week. The former Captain of the Starship Enterprise will be one of the featured guests at the 35th annual Shore Leave convention, " one of the oldest and largest all-volunteer, all fan-run science fiction and media conventions in the nation," according to a release. The 3-day event will be held at the Hunt Valley Marriott Hotel between Aug. 2 and 4. Shatner, making what is considered an "extremely rare" fan-convention appearance, will be at the show on Aug. 3.
