Hunt Valley Resident Wins Volunteer Service Award

Kathleen Bormuth was recognized by The Arc Baltimore.

A Hunt Valley resident was honored with The Arc Baltimore's 2012 Volunteer Service award.

Kathleen Bormuth received the award at The Arc's recent annual meeting, according to a news release. She was recognized for work with the nonprofit's annual golf tournament and other events.

The Arc Baltimore services individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families.

"Kathleen is committed to the needs of all individuals with disabilities, but has special affection for one in particular—her sister Nancy who attends The Arc Baltimore at Loch Ridge," said Stephen H. Morgan, executive director, in the release.
