Donate to Typhoon Haiyan Victims in the Philippines

Helping those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines is only a few clicks away.

Over the weekend, officials announced the havoc of Typhoon Haiyan might have left 10,000 dead in the Philippines.

As Marines and Red Cross crews work to rescue people and reunite families, there is something you can do from home—donate money for food and supplies.

The Philippine Red Cross has an online donation tool, that is also embedded above, accepting payments through credit card and PayPal.

The currency rate for donations is approximately 44 Philippine Pesos (PhP) for every US dollar. The smallest donation option is 100 PhP, or $2.29, and the largest selection is 10,000 PhP for $229.

In addition to the Red Cross, there is a UNICEF fund for Typhoon Haiyan victims, where you can donate anywhere from $50 to $1,000 by mail or phone.
