Hereford Field Hockey Continues Victory Streak
The team claimed a 6-0 victory on Tuesday against Loch Raven.
Hereford High School field hockey won its fifth shutout of the season with Tuesday's 6-0 victory against Loch Raven High School.
Mary Claire Abbott had three goals and an assist, Caitlin Abbott contributed two assists, Jessica Karwacki, Anna Mowell and Lila Radebaugh scored once each, and Genevieve Ott had one assist.
Goalies Marissa Betsill and Hannah Fizer made two and three saves respectively for the who led 4-0 at halftime.
Overall, Mary Claire Abbott leads the Bulls with 10 goals and four assists, junior Shannon Martello has five goals with one assist, sophomore Layne Litsinginer has scored twice with three assists and Karwicki, three times with one assist to pace the Bulls.
Coached by Tammy Mundie the Bulls (7-0) have out-scored their opposition 25-2 and will play host to Fallston High School of Harford County on Monday.

Bulls Football Falls to Comets
The unbeaten Catonsville High School Comets were unstoppable during Friday night's 50-14 Baltimore County Class 4A-3A victory over the visiting Hereford Bulls.
The only scorers for the Bulls, who trailed 17-7 at halftime, were Austin Brown and Jay Patti on runs of 23 and 15 yards in the second and fourth quarters respectively.
Andrew Fisher converted both extra point kicks for the , who slipped to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference while the Comets rose to 4-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
The Comets' DeAndre Lane ran for nearly 200 yards and accounted for four touchdowns comprised of rushing scores from 58, 64, and 66 yards, as well as a 75-yard punt return.
quarterback Aaron Jones threw a 53-yard scoring pass to Deniko Carter, and also ran for a 7-yard score.
Josh Hylton ran for a 50-yard touchdown and Eric Medinger booted a 36-yard field goal and converted 5-of-7 on extra point kicks.
