Watershed Action Plan

Baltimore County Dept. of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) and the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy will host a community meeting to provide an update on progress of the Small Watershed Action Plan (SWAP) for the Beaverdam Run, Oregon Branch, and Baisman Run watersheds. Community input is integral in creating the plan, which will guide restoration efforts in the watershed to improve water quality and stream health. Presentations will include forest management in Baltimore County parks, and fish resources in the watershed. The SWAP planning area is entirely west of I-83. It is bounded on the north by Hayfields and the new Ag Center, on the west by Tufton Ridge and Greenspring, on the south by Broadway, and on the east by I-83.
