8 Baltimore County Public Schools Still Without Power

The affected schools will remain closed on Friday.

Eight Baltimore County public schools will be closed on Friday due to power outages caused by June 29 thunderstorms.

All activities at the affected schools are canceled, and school staff working at those sites will report to alternate locations, according to a Baltimore County Public Schools news release.

The power outages caused closures on , and as well. Immediately following the storms, 52 schools had lost power. Service has been restored to 44 of them.
