Huff Prepares to Take Over as District 3 Councilman

The Republican politician looks forward.

Todd Huff claimed victory over Democratic councilman candidate Ben Sutley after securing 65 percent of the total vote.

"I feel humble, honored, and excited," he said. "I'm really looking forward to getting right into work and helping the constituents of District 3."

The three-year campaign was an arduous road for Huff.  After coming under fire from opponents and the media over criminal charges and his lack of a college education, the latter having been later revealed to be related to struggles with dyslexia, he is relieved that campaigning has come to an end. However, he's not resting just yet.

"I'll work harder as councilman than I did on the campaign," he said. "There is a meeting of all the new Baltimore County councilmen coming up to go over preliminary stuff. I also have to pack up my campaign gear."

Huff is also making plans to meet up with the Third District's current councilman Bryan McIntire.
