Comptroller Peter Franchot visited the on Thursday as part of his "Shop Maryland for the Holidays" tour.
"'Shop Maryland for the Holidays' is a way to encourage Marylanders to shop in state and support their communities for the holiday gift giving season," Franchot said in a news release. "I encourage Marylanders to get off the Internet and patronize local businesses. You can get great deals and help the more than 500,000 Marylanders employed in our state’s retail sector."
While at the town center, Franchot met with local business owners, shoppers, and Register of Wills Grace Connolly.
Hunt Valley was one of seven stops statewide in the comptroller's tour, according to the release.
