VIDEO: Police Aviation Team Shows Off Helicopter

Cockeysville's Police and Community Relations Council invited the aviation team to discuss their responsibilities within the police department.

Did you see a police helicopter flying over the Hunt Valley Bank of America building on Wednesday evening?

No worries, there wasn't an emergency. Cockeysville's Police and Community Relations Council invited members of the Baltimore County Police Aviation team to discuss their role in the police department during their regular monthly meeting.

Officer Don "Chopper" Coburn, an officer and pilot, said the helicopters, which cost $400 an hour to operate, are primarily used for felony pursuits and missing persons.
