Ryan Pritzker Named Cockeysville Precinct's Officer of the Year

Pritzker has worked at the station for 10.5 months, and has made 51 criminal and traffic arrests.

The Cockeysville Precinct's Police and Community Relations Council named Officer Ryan Pritzker, who has worked at the station for 10.5 months, as the recipient of its "Officer of the Year Award."

Pritzker moved to the from the Woodlawn Precinct, where he had worked for eight years. Since arriving at his new station, Pritzker has made a total of 51 criminal and traffic arrests, and issued 190 traffic citations and 245 traffic warnings.

Pam Rutledge, president of the police and community relations council, said supervisors at the precinct chose officers who they believe "went above and beyond the call of duty," and gave that list to the council. From there, a committee within the council selected the winner.
