Police: Possible First-Degree Rape Reported in Lutherville

The crime allegedly occurred on Five Farms Lane.

A Lutherville resident reported that she was raped Sunday in her home.

At an unknown time that day, someone allegedly broke into her house in the Mays Chapel Village area, allegedly beat and raped her, according to a Wednesday report by Baltimore County Police.

She had a black eye, and was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center Hospital, it states.

What a ridiculously sketchy report. Was it during the day or at night? Did he "allegedly" have a weapon? Is there a description? I am surprised that "allegedly" was put in front of "had a black eye" !

Are these few lame details all that an allegedly professional reporter was able to cobble together? Is the editorial policy of this "journalistic" enterprise so politically correct as to deny the public vital information that might be utilized to assure their safety? Give be a break, Patch. You have a professional and moral obligation to give a description of the scumbag that did this!!!

what is the prison time nowadays for rape in maryland--10 days? we need more prisons and judges that arent "too understanding"...maryland is so lax and LAME in terms of crime that an attempt to strengthen home invasion penalties died in the last session! write to your state senator..sen brochin tried to push it through but too many liberals stopped it...write to your state senator so baltimore county doesnt deteriorate to the level of the city
