North County Crime: Multiple Jewelry Thefts Reported
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Garrett Road, 2800 block, between 8 a.m. and 7:40 p.m., Sept. 13. A burglar stole jewelry. The thief removed a garage window screen and then kicked in the door leading inside, before rummaging through several rooms of the house.
Bosley Road, 1000 block, between 8 a.m., Sept. 12 and 6 p.m., Sept. 13. Gold jewelry was stolen. The burglar entered through an open bedroom window. Nothing else was taken or disturbed.
York Avenue, 10500 block, between 9 and 10 a.m., Sept. 13. Cash and a pearl necklace were stolen. The burglar entered through an unlocked window.
Meredith Ridge Road, 3400 block, between 11:50 and 11:56 a.m., Sept. 13. A burglar tripped an alarm while trying to break into a house. The burglar fled the scene. Nothin was stolen.
Gateridge Road, 10500 block, between 2:15 and 4 p.m., Sept. 12. An 18-karat gold wedding band and $100 in loose change were stolen. The burglar entered the home through an unlocked window.
York Road, 10700 block, between 4:30 p.m., Sept. 12 and 7:30 a.m., Sept. 13. Eleven tires were stolen from Hunt Valley Imported Auto Service. The thief made it onto the lot through a gap in the side fence.
