North County Crime: Cockeysville Man Charged With Stealing From Parents

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Falls Road, 16000 block, between 7:10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Oct. 5. Burglar(s) destroyed a kitchen window—valued at $200—to break into a home and steal jewelry.

Big Falls Road, 17800 block, between 2:35 and 2:45 p.m., Oct. 3. A 20-year-old Cockeysville man was arrested for stealing from his parents. McCord Christopher Craig, of the unit block of Deep Water Court, was charged with burglar in the first degree and theft. Craig reportedly rummaged through his parents’ dresser drawers before stealing cash out of his mother’s purse.

In a related incident, police reported that Craig stole silverware from his parents’ home the day before. According to the incident report, Craig was not allowed in their home.
