Monkton Man Arrested During Drug Raid at Club

Seven people, including a Monkton man, were arrested at the Black Hole Rock Club on German Hill Road Aug. 11, when more than 100 Baltimore County police officers showed up to serve a search warrant, Baltimore County police said Monday afternoon.

The arrests were the result of a nearly 15-month investigation into alleged drug dealing at the club, according to a police press release.

“Police received complaints that drugs were used openly throughout the club and undercover officers purchased narcotics inside the club at several times during the investigation,” according to the press release.  “Marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy, ketamine, and Psilocybin mushrooms were recovered inside the club during the search warrant.” 

The manager of the Black Hole Rock Club, Christopher Trikeriotis, 47, of the 14900 block of Dunstan Lane, in Monkton, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances along with other drug-related charges, Baltimore County police said. Detectives serving a search warrant on his home, allegedly recovered 175 marijuana plants growing in his basement.

Trikeriotis was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on $100,000 bail. Additional charges are pending for the marijuana plants found in his home, according to police.

The liquor license for the Black Hole Rock Club is held by Joyce Trikeriotis, Christopher Trikeriotis’ wife.

A Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office representative accompanied police to the Black Hole during the search warrant, as did inspectors from the Baltimore County Office of Code Enforcement and the Baltimore County Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Office. The business was declared condemned after an assessment, according to the Baltimore County police statement.

Baltimore County Police Chief Jim Johnson and Michael Mohler, chief administrator of the Baltimore County Board of Liquor License Commissioners, are trying to determine if other immediate actions can be taken against the club. Johnson is exploring whether the Black Hole can be closed permanently under the Baltimore County “Padlock Law”, according to the county police press release.

Jean Paul Steinberg, 36, of the 2100 block of West County Line in Jackson, NJ, was arrested and charged with distribution of controlled dangerous substance and other related narcotics offenses. The night of the warrant, undercover detectives purchased Psilocybin mushrooms from him, and he possessed what detectives believe to be ecstasy, marijuana, and methamphetamines. Steinberg is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.

Zane Aiden Langworthy, 21, of the 200 block of Sheridan Avenue in Fort Myer, VA, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on $20,000 bail.

Four club patrons arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia:

Elizabeth Kim Lee Walger, 25, of the 1100 block of Sleepy Dell Court, Towson, MD.

Kathryn Diane Sasko, 20, of the 9100 block of Winding Way, Ellicott City, MD.

Evan Thomas Tritt, 22, of the 200 block of Sheridan Avenue in Fort Myer, VA.

Devin Anthony Boyle, 23, of the 9200 block of Canterbury Riding, Laurel, MD.

Police found suspected controlled dangerous substances on six additional patrons, and charges could be placed after the results of chemical analysis are received, Baltimore County police said.
