Man Killed in I-695 Crash Near Perring Parkway

The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation.

A Baltimore man was killed in a collision with a parked tractor trailer on Interstate 695 Sunday morning, according to reports.

Brandon R. Delillo, 20, was driving a silver Nissan Frontier pickup truck that crashed into a Freightliner on the right shoulder of I-695 near Perring Parkway at approximately 6:15 a.m. Sunday, WJZ reported.

The truck caught fire, and Delillo was declared dead at the scene, WJZ said.

WBAL reported that Delillo lived in the 2200 block of Corbin Road in Baltimore.

The driver of the Freightliner was not injured, according to WBAL, which reported Maryland State Police were still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
