Crime Log:

Holly Ridge Court, 2000 block, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Nov. 16. A burglar stole a Toshiba laptop and a 42-inch Samsung flat screen television. The intruder smashed the rear basement sliding door to get inside.

Deereco Road, 9600 block, 1:20 a.m., Nov. 18. An armored door and Venetian blinds prevented a burglar from robbing Ricardo’s Gems and Jewelry. The suspect then tried to break through a window but “got caught” in the business’s Venetian blinds.
