Crime: Fairly Quiet Week in the Cockeysville Area

Precinct 7 crime reports from Feb. 1-8.

Thursday, Feb. 1

Burglary: Someone broke into a garage through an unlocked service door and stole a duffle bag from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Monkton Road in Monkton. The bag was later left at the end of the driveway. Nothing else appeared to be taken.

Monday, Feb. 7

Attempted Robbery: A black male suspect approached the victim who was seated in the back seat of a friend’s car and demanded money. The incident took place in front of the Burlington Coat Factory in the 100 block of Shawan Road in Hunt Valley. The victim’s friend started the car and drove away. No property was given up. The suspect was further described as between the ages of 17 and 22 with a medium build and dark complexion. The suspect was accompanied by a white male, also between 17 and 22.
