Crime: Car Shot on I-83; Burglaries Persist

Wednesday, Jan. 12

Burglary: Someone broke through a glass door to gain entry into a home in the 2400 block of Girwood Road in Timonium. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the home and stole a laptop, gift card, cash and a Nintendo Wii.

Burglary: Someone entered a home in the 18700 block of Middleton Road in Parkton. Nothing was taken. A window and screen were destroyed. The suspect left through the rear door.

Friday, Jan. 14

Assault: While driving on I-83 in Lutherville, someone shot a round into the rear passenger door of a victim’s vehicle. The victim was unharmed. The suspect is said to have been driving a dark Chevy Tahoe.

Sunday, Jan. 16

Destructive Device: Someone set off a homemade destructive device on the victim’s porch in the 1300 block of Denby Road in Towson. There was no damage done to the victim’s property. The device was a two-liter soda bottle containing an unidentified powdery white substance.
