Cockeysville Precinct Crime: Burglar Enters Window, Cages Family Dog

From Phoenix to Lutherville, these crimes were reported to the Baltimore County Police Department recently.

Jewelry was the target of a burglar in Lutherville last week, who also put a dog in its place.

Between 12:46 p.m. and 1:06 p.m. Sept. 3, a burglar pried open a rear, first-floor window at a home in the 200 block of Coldbrook Road and stole jewelry from the master bedroom.

The criminal put the resident's dog in its dog case, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

Phoenix

Sweet Air Road. 3900 block. Between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Aug. 21. A burglar stole four bracelets, earrings and a silver baby cup, according to a Sept. 4 report.

Sparks

Quaker Bottom Road. 500 block. Between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 1. A burglar sneaked in while a man was sleeping in the living room. The burglar stole a wallet with cash in it, as well as a laptop computer bag.

Lutherville

Chantry Road. 200 block. Between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31. A burglar stole two men's bicycles from the front porch, according to a report last week.
