Cockeysville Man Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

Baltimore County police seized videotapes of underage girls engaged in sexual activity at the residence of Leo Aragon Evans.

A Cockeysville man pleaded guilty on Friday to charges of producing and possessing child pornography, according to  the Maryland U.S. Attorney.

Leo Aragon Evans, 56, faces up to 40 years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, prosecutors said. He is scheduled for sentencing on June 15.

On Jan. 10, 2011, a 9-year-old girl reported to Baltimore County police that she was sexally abused by Evans for a year while she and another girl, 10, were under his care, prosecutors said in a press release. The next day, police seized a camcorder and two videotapes from Evans' residence showing both girls participating in sexual activity.
