Cockeysville Crime: Woman Hears Tapping On Window, Burglar Flees

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Cranbrook Hills Place, 10400 block. At 11:25 p.m. June 17. Someone tried to break into an apartment but did not get inside. A woman was asleep on her sofa when she heard a tapping at the living room window. She turned on her lights and checked the window to discover it cracked open and a screen removed.

Hartfell Road, 2400 block. Between 11 p.m. June 12 and 8:30 a.m. June 13. 
A gym bag containing a men's swimsuit and swim goggles was stolen from a vehicle after someone threw a rock through a passengers side window to get inside. 

Bee Tree Road, 200 block. Between 7 a.m. June 1 and 11 a.m. June 15. 
Someone broke into a vacant home in Parkton. Nothing was stolen or damaged.

Cranbrook Road, 600 block. At 10 p.m. June 12. 
A woman was walking to a friends house when someone tried to rob her. A man approached the woman from behind, grabbed her, covered her mouth and demanded money. The woman said she had no money, and the man threw her to the ground and ran away.

E. Padonia Road, unit block. At 10:30 a.m. June 12. A man saw a woman prying out his bedroom window screen. The woman fled after being noticed.
