Cockeysville Crime: Padonia Road RiteAid Robbed

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Chetwood Circle, 2400 block. Between 10 p.m. June 25 and 6 a.m. June 26. A 26-inch Insignia LCD television was stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by cutting a window screen and climbing through a sunroom window. Neighbors reported seeing a “white construction van quickly leaving the driveway” around 2 a.m., according to a police report.

E. Padonia Road, unit block. At 9:57 p.m. June 25. A Rite Aid store was robbed at gunpoint and cash was stolen.

Two men entered the store and rushed the counter where an employee was working. They showed a silver revolver-type handgun, took cash from the register and ran out of the store toward the back of the shopping center, according to a police report.

Jenifer Road, 12000 block. Between 7:30 p.m. June 18 and 10 a.m. June 19. Eighteen one-liter bottles of liquor were stolen from Padonia Park Swim Club.
