Cockeysville Precinct Crime: Baltimore Man Arrested in Bike Theft; Rape Reported

Police arrested a Canton man Monday, charging him with fourth-degree burglary in the theft of a bicycle in Cockeysville.

Between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Monday, a GT Timberline bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a home in the 9700 block of Monroe Street, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

The bicycle was recovered, and the suspect, age 25, was arrested later at 9901 York Road, it states.

Cockeysville

Katesford Road. 800 block. Sunday. A burglar came into a home through an unlocked, rear door, and stole two iPads, hair strengthener and a cloth bag.

Pot Spring Road. 10500 block. Between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Aug. 15. A burglar threw a large, concrete ornament through the passenger-side, front window of a car, and stole an iPad.

Towson

Aigburth Road. 400 block. Sometime in June 2009. A victim reported Saturday that in 2009, her boyfriend at the time had raped her. "Victim wanted to report the incident to put her mind at ease," the second-degree rape report states.
