Baltimore County Updates Road Closure List Following Flood

The following roads in Northern Baltimore County sustained damage from last week's floods.

Baltimore County's Department of Public Works has listed the following roads in Northern Baltimore County as temporarily closed because of damage from

  • Bluemount Road near Wesley Chapel Road in Monkton will require some repair but is expected to reopen by the end of the week.
  • Bluemont Road near the quarry in White Hall will be closed Wednesday morning and will remain closed for at least two weeks.
  • Stablers Church Road, west of York Road and near Walker Road in Parkton, needs repair but is expected to reopen by the end of the week. 
  • Big Falls Road near Bernoudy Road in White Hall requires  repair but is scheduled to reopen Wednesday. 
  • Western Run Road near the bridge over Western Run in Cockeysville will need substantial repair but is expected to reopen before October.

Heavy rain caused in Northern Baltimore County last week. were especially hit hard with damage.
