Schools Release Employee Salaries

After a short delay, Patch has obtained salary information for two senior schools officials have been.

The salaries of two senior by Superintendent S. Dallas Dance have been released.

Following a request made on Thursday, Baltimore County Public Schools spokesman Charles Herndon revealed on Monday that Assistant Superintendent of the Department of Human Resources Donald Peccia has a $158,652 annual salary and Chief Communications Officer Phyllis Reese receives $142,549 a year.

Herndon apologized to Patch for the delay, citing limited staff in the communications office.

They are pros at citing delays. It's getting to the point the only way to get them to respond is with a PIA request.

Not for nothing but if they can no longer fulfill their roles, what's the point of keeping of reassigning them?
I would imagine at their level they serve at the pleasure of the supt and can be released without cause.

I responded to your article on Friday (7/6) with salary figures. The ones that I obtained, via The Sun, has each of their salaries a bit higher than those released by the system. I'd be curious as to the reason for the difference.
