Two former Baltimore County Public Schools by Superintendent S. Dallas Dance will now receive the highest salaries in the county for their new jobs—high school teacher and copy and print specialist.
Donald Peccia, who was the assistant superintendent of human resources, will continue earning a $158,652 salary as a social studies teacher at Woodlawn High School until his contract expires, according to a statement from school system spokesman Charles Herndon. Similarly, former Chief Communication Officer Phyllis Reese will receive a $142,549 salary working in distribution.
Peccia and Reese started at their new positions on July 11.

Patch initially inquired about Reese and Peccia's new assignments on . At the time, Herndon declined to comment citing that he is unable to discuss personnel issues.
After two more unanswered phone calls, Herndon finally confirmed the transfers in an email sent after the close of business Friday.
