My Lady's Manor Set for 103rd Race

The race is the first jewel in the Maryland steeplechase triple crown.

With mostly sunny skies and temperatures around 70 degrees, conditions will be ideal for the 103rd running of My Lady's Manor. 

This is a stark contrast to the which featured bone-chilling wind and icy rain. Blair Wyatt and horse Bon Caddo claimed victory at that race.

My Lady's Manor, which is the first jewel in the Maryand steeplechase triple crown, is set to take place at the Ladew Topiary Gardens on Saturday.

Gates open at 10 a.m. but the namesake race, which has a purse of $30,000, doesn't post until 1:30 p.m, according to the Maryland Steeplechasing website. The John Rush Street Memorial, $10,000, and The John D. Schapiro Memorial, $7,500, races will follow, according to the website.

Tickets can be purchased by following the instructions on the Maryland Steeplechasing website. General admission is $40 if tickets are purchased ahead of time and $50 at the gate.
