Cockeysville Community Center Collecting Gift Donations

Creative Kids Community Center plans to host two events for parents in need to pick out free presents for their children.

, a nonprofit that assists young Cockeysville residents, is seeking gift donations for its Holiday Shop.

"It's a great way to help those in need this holiday season," said Jennie Fumarol, director of the .

The shop, open from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 15 and Dec. 22, allows parents in tough financial circumstances pick out free presents for their children. Twenty-four parents are scheduled to pick out gifts for 58 kids during the first event.

Fumarol said gifts for middle and high school students are especially needed. New items are preferred, but gently used clothing may be donated as well.

Interested donors may drop off gifts at , located at 13 Hogarth Circle, or call 443-454-5144 to have a representative from the community center pick up items.
