Baltimore County Police to Celebrate 'Shop with a Cop'

This is the largest such event in Maryland.

Baltimore County police officers are scheduled to take 110 children Christmas shopping on Saturday.

The officers and children will go shopping at the Walmart Store in Cockeysville with $100 provided for each child by the Optimist Clubs in Baltimore County, according to a news release.

The children can spend the money as they see fit but generally spend it on gifts for their friends and family.
