Patch wants to hear about your funny, exciting or even terrifying experiences starting a new job.

On Thursday, Patch ran a story about new Cockeysville police Captain David Moxley who described his for the Garrison police precinct.

After only two hours on the job, was involved in a high speed car chase and hostage situation. Sadly, one of the hostages was killed in a crossfire that later ensued between responding officers and the kidnappers.

"I was numb," Moxley told Patch. "Thankfully, it calmed down quit a bit after that."
