(Update 1:03 p.m.)— One lane on both northbound and southbound York Road south of Ashland Road is now open following an early Wednesday morning water main break near Beaver Run Lane.

Baltimore City Department of Public Works spokesman Kurt Kocher said crews are still repairing the break and Baltimore Gas & Electric personnel are also on site due to electric lines and a gas line in the area.

About 20 services, mostly businesses, were affected by the break, Kocher said. However, many of the businesses were already closed because of the Fourth of July holiday.

Kocher expects repairs to be finished—and York Road to be completely open—by Wednesday night.
