Where/When: Smithsonian; March 5, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Beat Ya Feet is a popular dance style characterized by rhythmic leg, arm and body movements. Melvin Deal and Da'Originalz present a lively discussion and performance on this dance phenomenon taking over D.C. 

 

4. Rango

Where/When: Hunt Valley Regal Cinemas, Starts Friday

Why Go: Johnny Depp stars as the voice of Rango, a chameleon who finds himself the sheriff of an Old West town.

5. March Film Screening: The Last Trek

Where/When: The American Indian Museum; March 5, 12:30-1 p.m.

Why Go: A film maker follows Navajo Elder Helen Bitsilly on her last arduous journey on foot to take the Navajo sheep to graze in distant lands.
