UPDATE: Baltimore Sun: Verdict Sealed in Exxon Mobile Case

In 2006, around 25,000 gallons on gas leaked into groundwater in Jacksonville.

(UPDATE 11:51 A.M.)– Exxon-Mobile has lost its bid to only pay compensatory damages for a 2006 gasoline leak in Jacksonville, but the full amount the corporation will have to pay remains unknown, The Baltimore Sun said. 

(ORIGINAL)–The verdict in a civil case involving dozens of Baltimore County families against Exxon Mobile Corp. concerning a 2006 gasoline leak is expected to be announced Tuesday, according to The Baltimore Sun. 

The Sun reports the decision comes after a trial, lasting over six months, in which 150 plaintiffs are seeking damages related to health, emotional distress and loss of property value.
