Atlantic Financial FCU Hires New VP of Lending/Collections

Hunt Valley, MD – Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union (AFFCU) welcomes David Allen as the new Vice President of Lending and Collections.

Allen has 20 years of experience in the consumer finance industry and a vast knowledge of financial services that will be beneficial to AFFCU. Previously, Allen was the Executive Director of Lending at the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Federal Credit Union in Washington D.C.

“David is a great fit to our team. He has a wealth of knowledge and ideas for new initiatives that will not only grow our lending portfolio, but further assist our membership with their financial needs,” said AFFCU President/CEO Matthew Piazza.

As a new addition to AFFCU’s management team, Allen will oversee all lending and collection functions at the credit union, while assuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures within the lending and collection departments. He will also join AFFCU’s Asset Liability Management Committee.

Allen assumes Ellie Meyd’s position as Vice President Lending and Collections, who retired after 23 years of service to the credit union.
