Penn-Mar Hosts I-83 Corridor Economic Growth Event

The Hunt Valley Business Forum and the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce are also participating in the networking event.

Are you interested in promoting the economic growth of the Interstate-83 corridor between Northern Baltimore County and York County in Pennsylvania?

On April 12, Penn-Mar Human Services, an organization servicing individuals with developmental disabilities, is hosting a networking event to encourage greater collaboration between area businesses associations such as the Hunt Valley Business Forum, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and the York County Economic Alliance.

The purpose of the event, called "I-83: The Pathway to Prosperity, Networking to the Future," is to work toward making the corridor a more vibrant economic region, according to a news release from Penn-Mar, located at 310 Old Freeland Road in Freeland.

The free event, which is scheduled to run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include refreshments. Interested participants are asked to RSVP by April 9 to Sherry Dansberger at (410)-343-1069 or sdansberger@penn-mar.org.
