Sidney, a gray and white cat, is missing from a Monkton area animal hospital and they're hoping that someone has seen him and can help bring him home.

"It's an unusual situation since the cat's carrier broke and he was actually at the hospital because he's sick," according to an email from Mt. Carmel Animal Hospital.

Sidney got out of his carrier on Friday, June 21. He is a domestic, gray, short hair cat with white on his paws, according to a post on Pet Amber Alert. His belly has been shaved due to a recent ultrasound.

"We are all worried about him as he is shy and not used to being outside," the email states. "The owner has signs all over up in Monkton, but any extra publicity would be wonderful to keep people looking.  We are hoping for a happy ending!"

Anyone with information about the missing cat can contact Mt. Carmel Animal Hospital, 16904 York Road, at (410) 343-0200 or fill out the form on Pet Amber Alert to contact the owner.
