York Road Water Main Breaks Again
The new break is a few yards away from a break that was discovered on Wednesday.
A water main on York Road near Beaver Run Lane has broken again.
Crews are on site repairing the damage, said Kurt Kocher, a Baltimore City Department of Public Works spokesman.
The city handles water services for Baltimore County.
Kocher said the break was discovered a few yards away from another break on the same water main discovered early Wednesday morning.
"Probably a combination of heat and heavy paving equipment," Kocher wrote in an email to Patch. "Line is also aging."
Both northbound lanes on York Road, south of Ashland Road are open to motorists. One southbound lane is closed, causing delays in traffic flow.

I think I might be onto something. Do you think that the same guys who were preparing to open the new Goldberg's outlet in Timonium are the same guys who were working on the York Road water main and they can't seem to get either job done the right way the first time?
