The Milton Inn Awarded International Star Diamond

Executive Chef Brian Boston received the award from The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

For the second year in a row, The Milton Inn has received the International Star Diamond award from The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

The prestigious award recognizes high performance in the hospitality industry globally.

According to its website, businesses are recommended to the Academy by "world travelers and industry professionals." The group then narrows the choices and secretly patrons the establishments before bestowing awards.

The Milton Inn is the third Maryland restaurant to receive the award. Charleston in Baltimore and Volt in Frederick are the other two recipients.

Executive Chef Brian Boston accepted the award at a February ceremony in New York.

"It's a great honor," Boston said. "I give my staff the recognition for all their hard work."
