Police Arrest 2 Suspected for Armed Robbery in Cockeysville

Three individuals were allegedly involved in stealing cigarettes from a Cockeysville woman living in a local apartment complex.

Police have arrested two males—an 18-year-old and a minor—suspected of robbing a Cockeysville woman after threatening her with a gun, according to a Baltimore County police incident summary.

On Friday Feb. 22, three males approached a woman in the 100 block of Windy Falls Way in Cockeysville. One of the males pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the woman. They demanded that she give them everything she had.

The three took the woman’s cigarettes and ran.

Police caught up with two of the suspects, a juvenile and 18-year-old Allen Christopher Butler, of the unit block of East Padonia Road.

The two were arrested and charged with armed robbery, which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. Police have not yet identified the third suspect involved in the robbery. Officers were however able to recover the handgun.

You want to know why current "gun control" laws don't work? Just watch the case of Mr. Butler. Since he is under the age of 21, he is not allowed, but laws currently on the books in Maryland, to legally be in possession of a handgun even if he went to a shooting range much less decided to use it for armed robbery. I am willing to bet that he will NOT be charged with that violation of the law and that is PRECISELY why these "gun control" laws DO NOT WORK. This scumbag need to be given a MINIMUM of 5 YEARS of hard time WITHOUT PAROLE or PROBATION. Don't hold your breath waiting for those charges.

why do people insist on linking this to "right to carry"??? the problem is that when they get caught they DONT GET PROSECUTED...they need more prisons and to have stronger sentences for these ANIMALS
