Children have the opportunity to explore the forest, streams and fields at Oregon Ridge Park.

Starting July, the park is hosting junior naturalist camps for kids that will feature hiking, crafts and environmental games, according to the park's website. Class sizes are limited to 20 participants, and divided into age groups of 6-8, 7-9 and 9-10.

The park will offer the following sessions, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

• July 9-13, Ages 6-8
• Aug. 6-10, Ages 6-8
• July 30-Aug. 3, Ages 7-9
• Aug.20-24, Ages 7-9
• July 16-20, Ages 9-10
• Aug.13-17, Ages 9-10

Each session costs $85, but members of the Oregon Ridge Nature Center will receive a 10 percent discount, according to the website. To register, call (410)-887-1815.
