North County Crime: Man Arrested for Assault, Residents Report Vandalism

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

Padonia Road, 200 block, between 4 and 4:09 p.m., Oct. 13. A Cockeysville man was arrested for fighting. Danzig Borrego, 18, was charged with second degree assault after encounters with two men on the same night. When a Parkville man tried to break up Borrego’s first fight, Borrego bludgeoned him with a stick.

Coteswood Circle, 900 block, between 8 a.m., Oct. 11 and 5 p.m., Oct. 14. A burglar stole various jewelry including necklaces, bracelets and earrings from a Cockeysville home. It is unknown how the intruder broke in.

Walker Road, 11700 block, between 1 and 7:49 a.m., Oct. 14. Someone stole a mailbox. It was later found, along with other mailboxes and signs, destroyed along the roadway. (See below)

Walker Road and Farm Meadow Court, between 1 and 7:49 a.m., Oct. 14. A large sign was removed from a nearby property. It was found destroyed along with fence boards and mailboxes.

Walker Road, 1300 block, between 1 and 7:49 a.m., Oct. 14. Fence boards were stolen from the aforementioned address. They were found in the roadway along with the items listed above.

Kirkwood Shop Road, 19600 block, between 2 p.m., Oct. 6 and 11 a.m., Oct. 10. A burglar tried, but failed to break in Brown’s Auto Parts with a shovel.
