Kooper's North Open For Business

If you've been, tell us what you think about the new tavern in town by writing a review.

There is new dog in town and Kooper is his name-o.

Kooper's North opened for business last week in Mays Chapel, just off of Tullamore Road.

The tavern is owner Patrick Russell's second restaurant/bar scene since opening the original Kooper's Tavern in Fells Point in 1997.

Kooper's brings to Timonium a highly touted brunch deal, daily specials from crabs to burgers, Belgian beers and more.

But the one thing Kooper's needs? A few customer reviews.

Write a review of Kooper's North.

Russell and managing partner Miles Perman have been busy since Kooper's grand opening last week. They said the new location mirrors their popular Fells Point tavern in every way except for space.

Kooper's North is a cozy, full-service restaurant and bar with only one floor. It's predecessor is stacked with a basement and three additional stories.

Take one look at the menu and you'll understand just how daunting a space puzzle management is trying to solve.

Kooper's is located at 12240 Tullamore Road and is open until 2 a.m. seven days a week.

Crabcake and fries were very good and reasonably priced. The bacon on our burgers was way undercooked but the burger itself was tasty. The left corner of the bar needs to be redesigned because it is cramped for patrons and it is a long reach for the bartender/server.
