Father's Day Events Around Hunt Valley
Check out Patch's guide for ideas on how to spend dad's special day.
So you got dad a tie and a new set of golf clubs. Now what?
Here are some Father's Day activities in or near the Hunt Valley area.
With the weather projected to be in the high 70s and mostly sunny, the conditions are ideal for a day fishing with dad. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., participants can fish at the Oregon Ridge lake, which contains blue gills and largemouth bass. Poles and worms will be provided.
For the more active dad, join this 5K and one-mile fun run that begins at 8 a.m. at Executive Plaza. Funds raised benefit the Greater Baltimore Medical Center's neonatal intensive care unit. Register online.
Groove with dad at Ladew's annual Father's Day concert featuring The Crawdaddies, an emerging roots rock group. Starting at 6 p.m., guests are invited to bring picnics, chairs and blankets.
Think dad would just prefer to kick back and enjoy the O's game? Take him to The Greene Turtle where he'll receive 20 percent off menu items such as wings, burgers and dips.
