Crime Log: Off-Road Vehicles Stolen, Man Discharges Gun in Apt & More
The following information regarding police activity in Cockeysville, Hunt Valley and North County was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
There have been three armed robberies reported in the Cockeysville area since Monday, Feb. 18. Two of them were reported by Patch last week:

Below you'll find the remainder of the Cockeysville, Hunt Valley and North County crime log, which is filled out mostly with burglaries of area homes and businesses.
In one startling instance, a man accidentally fired off his Smith and Wesson into the cement floor of his apartment. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Windy Farms Court, unit block, 12:05 p.m., Feb. 22. Burglars stole a Yamaha ATV, Yamaha dirt bike, Honda dirt bike, various paints, sculptures and antique dishes and glassware. Police have a basic description of three men who were spotted at the scene of the crime in a midsized Uhaul truck. The suspects forced the rear door open to break inside the currently vacant home.
Red Mare Court, unit block, 9:40 p.m., Feb. 21. A Cockeysville resident accidentally discharged a .357-caliber bullet into the cement floor of his apartment. No injuries were reported. The man responsible was the only person home at the time.
Falls Road, 12200 block between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Feb. 20. A burglar stole jewelry after forcing his way inside through the rear door.
York Road, 16900 block, between 4 p.m., Feb. 19 and 8 a.m., Feb. 20. A burglar stole money out of a cash register inside Over The Moon Café. The culprit broke in through an unlocked window.
Shawan Road, 100 block, 11 a.m., Feb. 19. A thief stole a woman’s Samsung Illusion cell phone out of her hand while she was holding it up to her ear listening to music. Police have a basic description of the suspect.
Evna Road, 17100 block, 9:48 a.m., Feb. 19. A burglar stole a jewelry box and attaché case. Police noted that the front door was forced open.
International Circle, 300 block, between 3 p.m., Feb. 15 and 6 a.m., Feb. 18. A burglar (or burglars) stole a salt spreader, officer chair, two ladders and a tool box from Merritt Properties. The individuals responsible cut the lock on a chain link storage location to break inside.
